Das Stück habe ich Ende 2002 geschrieben. Es ist dadurch inspiriert worden, daß ich von meiner ehemaligen Lehrerin Karin eine Karte geschickt bekam, auf der ein Zitat von Friedrich Hebel stand, welches folgenden Inhalts ist: “vielleicht sind alle Träume nur Erinnerungen.”

Ein schönes Zitat, allerdings bin ich durchaus (auch) der Aufffassung, daß es sich andersrum verhält, d.h. daß alle unsere Erinnerungen nur Träume sind, was nicht zuletzt dadurch verursacht wird, daß das Gedächtnis Erinnerungen stark verklärt. Diese Ansicht ist im Text verarbeitet. Und obwohl mir das bewußt ist, träume ich davon nochmal zurück zu können...

Dreams
